Continuous Tourism Related Education (CTRE) supports MOTAC licence renewal by recognising ongoing professional development. Practitioners accumulate CTRE credits through short courses, seminars, and industry workshops delivered by ATTIM-accredited providers. A streamlined digital application process is being rolled out for the 2026 cycle.

§ 05Frequently Asked

CTRE is a continuing-education framework recognised by MOTAC. Accumulating CTRE credits supports the renewal of your tourism operating licence.

Credit requirements are set by MOTAC and vary by licence category. Each module above carries a defined CTRE credit value toward your renewal.

Individual modules start from RM 600 depending on format and duration. Online modules are typically lower-cost than in-person workshops.
