About ATTIM

The national body accrediting institutes, certifying practitioners, and advancing the professional standard of tourism training across Malaysia.

§ 01Strategic Roadmap

Institutional objectives

Founded in 2009 and registered with the Registrar of Societies, ATTIM unites Malaysia's tourism training institutes under a single standard of excellence. Our mandate is set out in six guiding objectives.

Elevate training standards

Raise the standard and professionalism of skills-based tourism training delivered by member institutes across the nation.

Accredit & certify institutions

Establish and administer accreditation frameworks that recognise institutes meeting ATTIM's quality benchmarks.

Represent members nationally

Serve as the collective voice of members before MOTAC, MOHR and other regulatory and industry bodies.

Align curriculum with industry

Develop and continuously update programme standards so graduates meet the evolving needs of the tourism sector.

Foster collaboration

Encourage knowledge-sharing, joint programmes and best-practice exchange between member institutes.

Advocate national policy

Contribute to the national agenda on tourism human-capital development and Vision 2030 education goals.
